looks/traits
Hair: long, brightly coloured hair.  Flower colours: red, blue, violet, yellow.
Eyes: Generally bright, emerald green eyes.

build: strong build, curvaceous

lifespan: fairies live to around ae twenty, with full maturity reached at around a year and a half.

personality types
Fairies are very serious.  They understand the importance of their growing magic and carry out their duties to their changes contientiously.  They will also take very strong steps in redressing wrongs done to them.  They have little sense of humor, which often puts them at odds with Pixies.

dress style
Make: Fairy clothes are natural - plant materials, like flower petals, leaves, and bark
Top: leaves wrapped around the body and tied over a shoulder
pants/skirt: flower petal loincloths or skirts
overclothes: in cold, Fairies will wrap themselves in treebark.  In wek, they will carry leaves or similar items that make water drip away from them
accessories: musical instruments - especially flutes/ pan pipes

powers
Fairies have growing magic.  They are also able to make their powers stronger by the use of musical instruments.

home/family
Fairies are self sufficient from birth and do not get along with other fairies except during mating times.  They are strictly solitary.  Fairies will create nests for themselves in abandoned animal nests.  Then they give birth, the young spend a week in these nests before going off on their own.  Fairies have few possessions, but they will store them in their nests.

Eating habits
Dew, plant nectar, leaves and petals make up all of a fairy's diet.  They eat once a day in the early morning.

Social Structure
As a completely solitary folk, there is no social structure.

Fairies believe in the gods of growing things, but the don't pray to them.

Killing living plants.

As a completely solitary folk, Fairies have no set law.

Fairies don't talk much, and when they do it's as succinct as possible.

Naming
Fairies have no names.  Larger folk will call them by the name of the main plant they take care of, but it's not a true name.

Arts, music, and literature
The growth of plants is Fairie's only art.  They have many kinds of music, mostly for flute.

Education and play
Fairies don't educate themselves and rarely play.

Economy
As a completely solitary folk, Fairies have no economy

relationship with outsiders
Fairies get along with Wood Elves, but other than that they don't care for outsiders.

Fairies don't get along with others, so they have no companions.

Fairies flutter or walk.

Fairies know all about plant properties that help medically.

Differences
Because of their solitary nature, Fairies with disabilities never live long.  Twins are no different from others and don't live together.

As fairies are solitary, they don't need a code of manners.

sex/reproduction
Fairy mating season is in the early spring and the mate with many partners.  Gestation is a little under a month, and they give birth to clutches of generally from two to four children who may have different fathers.  They are sexually active until around age fifteen.
